 Slide valves |
GUICHON VALVES manufacture various types of slide valves for on/off service, mostly designed for severe working conditions in the petrochemical sector (i.e. fluids containing hard particles, powders, high temperature).
The main features of these valves are :
- through conduit type
- no retention area
- enabling pigging of the line
- metal-to-metal seating or lamellar seats
- seating surfaces protected from process medium during opening/closing strokes
Main optional arrangements
- hard faced seating surfaces for a better resistance
- removable bottom for body cleaning
- additional connections for draining or steam sweeping
- spring loaded seats
Operation

Materials
These valves can be manufactured in a wide choice of stainless steels and special alloys available for fabricated (welded) construction.
