GUICHON VALVES manufacture piston or ram type valves to suit various functions :

• for installation at the bottom of a tank as draining valve
• placed laterally as feeding valve
• mounted on a section of piping for injection or sampling
• used in line as dead zone free stop valve
• on a tank dome for the rinsing of walls by spraying and streaming.

Piston valves are particularly suitable for use with high viscosity and polymerising products. Two different types of sealing systems are available :

• metal to metal sealing with conical seating surface (type 606)
• radial stem sealing with packing rings (type 605) 

Main optional arrangements :

• flush or crust breaking piston (type 605)
• additional purge or cleaning nozzles
• heating jacket
• vacuum service
• sampling function with receiving pot
• inside and outside body polishing (CIP/SIP)
• packing selection according to operating conditions (including FDA approved type)
• hard faced seating surfaces for high pressure conditions (type 606).
